Beergarden Goes Local for Eugene Beer Week 2025!

Beergarden celebrates LOCALS ONLY this year for Eugene Beer Week, and we’ve sure got a lot to be proud of here in this great Beer Town. We celebrated the locals back in 2022, but we feel like there’s more than enough to celebrate them again!

Pants with Pockets is a femme-empowered band based in Eugene that plays a range of originals and americana/folk favorites. Featuring Sarah Holtschlag on guitar/saw/accordion, Nicole Hummel on guitar, Tanya Bunson on fiddle, Heather Davis on washboard, and Dandy Colehour on washtub bass. All members of the band lead songs, and gorgeous vocal harmonies are a treat to the ears!

The AM (Acoustic Minds) is comprised of identical twin sister singers and songwriters Jenni and Amanda Price and super producers and multi instrumentalists Josh Lorenzen and Aaron Altemose. Their sound bends genres of edm, hip hop, soul and pop. Known for their deep songwriting and unique sibling harmonies combined with tasty 80ʼs synths and future bass sounds. Their music touches on deep topics of love and loss with a hint of party vibes. These ladies know how to bring all the good vibes to our stage, we look forward to hosting them again!

On the first day of summer in 2007, Rootdown was formed in the college town Eugene, Oregon.  Combining the sunny sounds of reggae, with a splash of alternative rock and hip-hop the band independently released three EPs and one full-length album. The Men from S.U.R.F. have native music of California burned into their DNA. Countless teen-age hours spent playing the songs of The Ventures, Dick Dale, The Astronauts, Jan & Dean, and of course, The Beach Boys, have etched this music into their collective souls. The Men from S.U.R.F. also play tunes from bands like Los Straightjackets, Jimmy Buffett, Eddie and the Showmen and in original surf style music from The Men from S.U.R.F. Based in the Pacific Northwest, these guys are certainly fun to watch! We are so stoked to have them finishing off this fun event with us!

Rudolf Korv and the NW Feels.. Live on the Patio at Beergarden!

The music Korv plays can only be described as Americana.  Like a lot of teenagers in the `90s, Korv grew up listening to Pearl Jam and Nirvana, and you can hear a bit of Pearl Jam lead singer Eddie Vedder in Korv’s sonorous growl, “but when I would write, it would come out way more tender,” Korv remembers.

More than anything, Korv is inspired by the music of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. “His songs shaped me the most: autobiographical to a degree, but more expounded in fiction,” he says.

Part of what makes beergarden so special is the beautiful garden area out back. We sure do LOVE to show it off, especially on our 10th Anniversary.

For the final day of celebration, join Artist Sierra and Plant Goddess Brianna at Beergarden to make a one of a kind creation by painting terracotta pots with your own personal design. Once the pots are fully dry, you will be provided with your own plant and soil to make it complete!

Beergarden's 10th Anniversary Celebration: June 5-8, 2025

10 years ago, June 5 of 2015, a crew of mostly strangers scrambled to finish the last-minute touches on a brand new beergarden. Slated to open at 5pm that day, we opened the doors to the public at 5:30pm… and the rest is history.

Food Vendors: We’ve shared our space with several talented food vendors throughout the past 10 years, but Lani Moku Grill has been with us since day one. Along with our other 5 food vendors, we’ll be featuring fun food specials throughout the celebration so stay tuned for those delicious details.

Beverages: beergarden is known for having a draft and bottle list full of ever-rotating selections from local breweries as well as breweries around the country and the world. Our neighbors and friends at Coldfire Brewing are also celebrating 10 years strong, and our team just finished brewing a collaboration beer that will be released on our anniversary! In addition to draft beers, we’ll feature ciders, wines, N/A beverages and a special anniversary cocktail menu to cheers our 10 years.

Entertainment / Live Music: beergarden loves to host live music and events, and we are going big for this celebration. We’ve invited some of our absolute favorite musicians that have played our stage throughout the years, and we are excited to announce the line-up. As always, shows are suitable for all ages and FREE for everyone to enjoy.

  • Thursday, June 5. Happy Anniversary, Beergarden! Come celebrate with one of our all-time favorite groups of people, The Hank Shreve Band. Bill & Hank have been playing our stage since the very beginning, and we are excited to have their full band to play for you on our special day.

  • Friday, June 6. We welcome our friends from Mahalo Cider, offering tastings and give-aways. Our friends from Rootdown will be playing on our patio, and their amazing face painter will be available.

  • Saturday, June 7. We knew we wanted to make this celebration HUGE, and we couldn’t think of a better couple of bands to help us do that. Alder Street has been a local favorite for many years, and we are thrilled that they could be a part of our event. In the evening, we welcome our friends from Sol Seed to our stage. Before they became a nationally-touring band, they played our stage… and we are stoked to bring them back to play for all of you! (Seating is first come, first serve)

  • Sunday, June 8. For the final day of our event, we will feature a special Paint & Plant event as well as live music by our Fruity Friends, Sweet N’ Juicy.

    • Paint & Plant, 12-2pm: Paint a pot with local artist, Sierra and plant with our resident green thumb, Brianna. All painting and planting supplies will be provided. Pre-registration required.

    • Sweet N’ Juicy, live on the patio at 4pm (PNW Album of the Year in 2024)

Luma Knotty... live on the patio at beergarden

Luma Knotty will bring you on an illuminated musical journey, serving up an original blend of guitar-driven funk, rock, and reggae. The infectious horn lines elevate the band's raw energy, giving their sound a powerful, yet polished aura. Hailing from Green Bay, Wisconsin, this group is continuously evolving, while still honoring their diverse musical roots. Founded in 2017 by guitarist Ryan Patrick with the idea to fuse his musical upbringing in blues & funk rock with his training from McNally Smith College of Music and his years of experience in roots reggae. While writing original music and lyrics telling stories of love, loss, and awakening, Ryan wanted to create a more modern approach to reggae. Referencing his love for vibrant stage lighting, his lyrics of awakening, and using a play-on-words for his locs, "Luma Knotty" was born.

Delphinium Blue is a seven piece band from Eugene, Oregon. Forming in February of 2023, the band began playing shows around town, building a repertoire of rock, funk, and soul covers and originals. Members include Charlie and Flora on lead vocals, Shane on guitar, Zev and Joey on guitar/bass, Ellie on keys/saxophone, and Jake on drums.

BLUEGRASS JAM: Come down to beergarden every Monday and listen to and / or play with our friends from Belltower. Please bring your instrument with you if you intend to play. All ages and skill leveles are welcome to join! Jam will go from 6:30pm-8:30pm.

GAMES! We’ve been curating our beergarden game selection, and we are excited to show you what we’ve got! Games will be available ALL DAY each Monday. ANYONE can play any of the board games or Giant Games we have to offer. They are FREE to play and first come first serve. (Feel free to bring your own games as well!)

Forest Mountain Lion.. Live on the Patio at Beergarden!

Forest Mountain Lion brings an intimate but powerful folk rock experience. Listeners are immersed in an original musical style. Lyrical stories blend themes of love, longing and friendship with messages of spiritual empowerment and the vision and strength to create a better world. After years playing music in Los Angeles, where he received accolades from the LA Times for his orchestral rock project The Struggle Is Not Real, Forest traded a studio full of gadgets for an acoustic guitar and an elk skin drum so he can play music outdoors. He has a degree in orchestral composition from the University of Oregon and has recorded many albums, available on all platforms. For many upcoming shows, he's thrilled to be accompanied by two incredible musicians – Anumi on violin and Jacob Sellars on bass. Most of Forest's current repertoire is new original music that hasn't yet been recorded.

Equal parts country and blues, Melissa's music is firmly rooted in the rural West. Through her distinctive voice and adept songwriting, she leads us through the timber and mining towns that speckle her part of the world while weaving throughout stories of grit, determination, and precious joy. Ruth has four self-produced albums to her name as well as having produced a live album by the Western band, the Slow Ponies. Ruth and her husband and guitar player Johnny Leal perform as a duo and with their band, Melissa Ruth & The Likely Stories, throughout the West.
